Seniors should not be over 2 1/2 lbs. Juniors should be 1-2 lbs. The body should be short and compact. The shoulders are to be deep and broad, with the shoulders being the same width as the hindquarters. The head is to be large and a size to balance with the body. The shape should be round when viewed from any direction. The Ears are to be short, well set on top of the head, erect, well furred, and of good substance with a strong ear base. The eyes should be round, bold, and bright. The Netherland Dwarf has rollback fur. It should be soft and dense.
